Technical data and aggregate analytics

Hosting, security and network providers may process ordinary request information such as IP address, browser details, requested pages and timestamps to deliver and protect the website.

The site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics for aggregate traffic and performance, and a first-party funnel measurement endpoint backed by Cloudflare Workers Analytics Engine. Funnel events can include event type, page path, CTA source, language, referrer hostname and standard campaign tags such as UTM source, medium and campaign.

The funnel code uses a random per-tab session identifier stored in sessionStorage to group events during that browser-tab session. It does not use advertising cookies and does not intentionally write names, email addresses, Discord account identifiers or raw IP addresses into the custom funnel dataset. Aether Exile does not sell visitor data or use these events to build advertising profiles.

Discord and external services

Links to Discord, YouTube and email leave this website and are governed by the policies of those services. Aether Exile records aggregate funnel events around official Discord handoffs so it can understand which pages and calls to action bring visitors into the community.
